Selena Russo

Selena Russo is a certified Physician Assistant who is passionate about helping patients improve their circulation, heal faster, and live more active, comfortable lives. She believes great care starts with listening and taking the time to understand each patient’s story.
Selena is part of the care team at Pacific Vascular Institute in ‘Aiea, Hawai‘i’s first outpatient interventional vascular center. She works closely with patients who have peripheral arterial disease, vein problems, wounds, lymphedema, and dialysis access needs. She also assists with and performs minimally invasive treatments like ultrasound-guided sclerotherapy, VenaSeal closure, and radiofrequency ablation, helping patients recover without major surgery or long hospital stays.
Before moving to Hawai‘i, Selena practiced in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Richmond University Medical Center in New York, where she cared for premature and critically ill newborns. That experience shaped her calm, compassionate approach and deep commitment to attentive, detail-oriented care.
Selena earned her degree in Physician Assistant Studies from St. John’s University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in New York. She is board-certified by the NCCPA, maintains ACLS and BLS certifications, and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA).
Outside of work, Selena enjoys exploring Hawai‘i’s natural beauty, staying active outdoors, and continuing to learn new ways to help patients live healthier lives.
